Watch your mail for the animal & livestock ID information

COVID-19 requires that we adjust many of our typical processes and policies related to 4-H Animal Science programming. Please review the following information carefully.

Animal identification

Extended deadline: Our animal identification system will remain in place. The deadline is extended to June 1, 2020.

Our office is closed to the public and we are unable to provide 4-H tags to families at this time. If you need tags, please fill out the Tag Request Form,, and we will have your order ready for pickup when we reopen. Note: At this time it is uncertain when our office will reopen, we will be in contact with you when we are.

Families must place tags in animal ears and record identification data in 4HOnline by June 1. We can assure there will be sufficient time between picking up ear tags and the identification deadline. Any unused tags must be returned to our office by June 15.

All members enrolled in breeding beef, dairy, dog, goat, horse, lama, poultry, rabbit, sheep and swine should receive an animal ID packet in the mail the first week of April. If you have any questions about animal ID, leasing requirements or need ear tags, contact Becca, 320-843-3796 or email,
