Have you signed up for the 2019 Regional 4-H Camp?

The 2019 Regional 4-H Camp has been scheduled for June 18-20, 2019 at the University of Minnesota Morris Campus. Youth in grades 3-6 are invited to attend this unique camp experience.

Registrations are accepted online at If you have difficulty registering online, please contact your local county 4-H Program Coordinator.

Campers will participate in a variety of activities - here's what you can expect!

Educational Tracks - (12-20 members with an adult educator and youth counselors) - will meet a total of 4 times during camp totaling 7-8 hours. Track sizes are limited to the first 20 participants, due to popularity, one track is already FULL but there are still 5 amazing choices so sign up soon to ensure you get your first choice. Youth can choose ONE of these 5 exciting tracks to explore:

  • Build a Better Mousetrap - Do you like to tinker, invent, and explore new gadgets? Learn about simple machines, design thinking, and engineering while planning, designing, and building a spectacular Rube Goldberg machine.
  • Hammer Time - Do you like working with your hands? Campers will learn about woodworking and will even build a useful item to bring home.
  • Imaginative Creations - Use your imagination to create a variety of crafts using many different methods. Bring home your unique creations.
  • Moo, Cluck, Baa! - Animal Science is a backbone of Minnesota Agriculture. Campers will explore different animal science project areas through hands-on experiences. Learn how unique animals can be!
  • Weeds, Feeds & Seeds - Explore agronomy through weeds, feeds, and seeds! Learning about forages, growing plants, and where our food comes from are just some of the topics we will cover.

Color Groups - (made up of 8-10 youth per group with 2 counselors assigned to each group) - will meet for small group activities various times during camp.

Large Group Activities - includes visits to the Regional Fitness Center (RFC) for swimming and activities, various speakers, games, evening programs, and campfire.

Meals - served in the cafeteria at UMM with many choices.

Lodging - Campers are housed in a secure dormitory on the UMM campus. Each room accommodates two youth and campers are allowed to choose their own roommate when arriving at camp. Don’t worry if you don’t have someone specific to room with, you will make new friends at camp as well!

Flag Raising - Campers will also be a part of the flag raising and lowering each day of camp.

4-H camp is just $75 for Stevens County 4-H Club Members ($150 for friends)!
