4-H Healthy Sprouts

Healthy Sprouts is an opportunity for youth in the NE region to participate in a weekly, online summer gardening program. Each week youth will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how to grow your own food
  • Enjoy hands-on gardening projects
  • Make a nutritious snack
  • Explore food-related careers

What you need to know about Healthy Sprouts

WHO: Any youth enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade


  • Weekly on Wednesdays from June 3 through August 26 from 2-4 p.m. -  Register here.
  • Weekly on Tuesdays from June 2 through August 25 from 1-3 p.m. -  Register here.

Live participation is encouraged, but sessions will be recorded

WHERE: Online Zoom meetings


Requirements for participation:

  • Access to a garden. This can be in your yard, in pots on your deck, or at a community garden site.
  • Seeds, plants and gardening tools
  • A device to access the internet for weekly Zoom meetings
