    Register for the 4-H State Leadership Conference -YELLO...ish!

    Youth Exploring Leadership and Learning Opportunities (YELLO) is an exciting and fun 4-H civic engagement and leadership conference that engages youth in activities to prepare them to learn and lead in their communities. Nearly 300 youth from across Minnesota take part in the event each year.

    Though in-person Extension meetings, events and classes are not possible at this time, we are open for business and continuing to work in your communities and bringing online education and resources to all Minnesotans.

    Photography Scavenger Hunt Update

    On behalf of the MN State 4-H Photography Committee, I want to thank you for participating in the statewide photography scavenger hunt! We've had a tremendous turnout! We wanted to let you know that MN 4-H Photography has a few additional pieces that will be offered throughout the summer!

    Fair canceled, 4-H showcases still planned

    As many of you have heard, the Sherburne County fair board has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Sherburne County Fair due to the COVID-19 health pandemic.

    Virtual Project Day with the Sherburne County 4-H Ambassador Team

    The Sherburne County 4-H Ambassadors have been working hard planning a project day for months. They have decided to offer this program virtually to share 4-H project learning with all. Instead of a one-day event, this virtual project day will be spread out over one week with sessions going live daily at 3:00 p.m.

    Ambassador Spotlight

    The Sherburne County 4-H Ambassador program is a designed program to build civic engagement and leadership skills in our 4-H youth and gives them hands-on learning experiences in program planning, promotion, advocacy, and community service. To help you learn more we want to showcase some of the experiences they have.

    Hand-Sewing: a valuable life skill anyone can learn!

    Knowing the basics of hand-sewing is a life skill that everyone should know. Once you learn how to sew by hand, you’ll be able to repair your own things and do fun projects that can be done without a sewing machine.
