    Earth Day Scavenger Hunt

    What Can You Share?

    During this “4-H at a distance” time, our goal is to keep providing our members with learning.  We’re looking for members, volunteers, and families who can offer a peek into their skills.  Are you birthing or caring for livestock? Are you filling your free time with knitting or painting?  We want to see you in action!

    We are looking for youth and screened volunteers to help us select this year’s scholarship recipients.  We have two different opportunities for you to take part.

    The Leaders’ Council is currently seeking nominations for the Friend of 4-H and 4-H Alumni Awards.

    Re-enrollment is Open

    The deadline for 4-H enrollment has been extended to June 1 this year, but we encourage you to hop on over to the website and get your enrollment done early.  Enrolling early ensures that you get all of the most accurate updates from our office.

    Message from Associate Dean and Minnesota 4-H Director

    University of Minnesota Extension has extended its cancellation of in-person events until the end of June. 4-H educators are hard at work creating meaningful learning and leading experiences young people can access from their homes.

    Are you looking for resources to get you through the COVID-19 pandemic? Are you stressed from being at home? Worried about finances or about having enough food? Extension and each of its Centers have resources compiled on one website.

    Stay Connected to 4-H

    In an effort to keep our communities safe, all in-person 4-H activities have been cancelled through March 31. Additionally, all Scott County government buildings, including the Extension Office, are closed to the public through MAY 15.

    Performing Arts Day

    Out of respect for the senior citizens who live at Oak Terrace, Performing Arts & Share the Fun planning is currently on hold. Please stay tuned to the Friday E-Blast, Facebook, and our website for updates. We will enjoy the hard work of our 4-H members at a later date.
