Extension is expanding its online education and resources while in-person events and classes are canceled.

  • Scott County Fair Cancellation
As many of you have heard, the Scott County fair board has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Scott County Fair due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • State Fair cancellation
Extension is creating alternate experiences for 4-H'ers and others. "It won’t replace the Fair but we are committed to meaningful programming," says Dean Durgan.
  • Re-enrollment & ID Deadline June 1
The deadline for re-enrollment and animal ID is quickly approaching! Both processes are completed using 4HOnline. All youth must be re-enrolled for the current 4-H year (which started October 1) in order to participate in judging experiences or most of the summer learning opportunities ahead.
  • 4HOnline and FairEntry Website Questions
We’ve received lots of questions about animal ID and fair registration. These two processes take place at different times using different websites, so let’s take a look at the differences.
