Extension is expanding its online education and resources while in-person events and classes are canceled.

  • State Fair cancellation
Extension is creating alternate experiences for 4-He'rs and others. "It won’t replace the Fair but we are committed to meaningful programming," says Dean Durgan.
  • A note from Sharon ....
Updates regarding upcoming 4-H events and activities in Red Lake County.
  • Great time to work on projects!
Looking for things to do, what about 4-H projects? This extra time spent at home is a great opportunity to begin thinking about and working on your 4-H projects
  • 4-H Agronomy
Agronomy is the science of using plants for food, fuel, feed, and fiber. In 4-H Agronomy, you'll learn how plants grow and how the science of agronomy is connected to business and to your community. You will have hands-on learning experiences with plants and people in your area.
  • Minnesota 4-H Festival of Nations
The 2020 Minnesota 4-H Festival of Nations is a statewide, virtual learning opportunity that celebrates the diverse people and cultures of the world. This introductory experience is designed to support 4-H'er in learning about a group or place that's unfamiliar to them and build appreciation. These are important early steps in being culturally competent global citizens. Details are posted on the Minnesota 4-H website: Festival of Nations and 4-H Global Connections.
