Here’s a chance for you to practice and learn about 4-H Project Bowls. The SE Invitational 4-H Project Bowl will be held Saturday, February 22 in Byron.

Nicollet County 4-H Ambassadors are youth grades 7+ who have a passion for 4-H. Ambassadors come together regularly to learn about their own leadership talents, work as a team, and plan community activities to practice and apply their skills. Continue for application information.

Let’s come together to talk about animals! Whether you’re a livestock superintendent or a just a beginner in 4-H, this meeting is for you. You don’t have to own livestock to be a part of animal science in 4-H! More information follows.

Landlords, Farmers, Agri-Business Professionals should make plans to attend one of the free, informative meetings being held across Minnesota provided by the University of Minnesota Extension. Farm land rental rates are the largest input cost the farmer has, and determining a fair farm rent agreement is a challenge in today’s economy with current low corn and soybeans prices in 2019. Plan to attend a meeting that will cover local historic and projected farmland rental rate trends, current farmland values and sales, and a worksheet that will help determine a fair rental agreement.
