    2020 4-H Camp at Camp Victory!

    Are you ready to have fun, meet new friends and explore new things at 4-H Regional Camp at Camp Victory? Campers will spend three days and two nights at camp enjoying swimming, hiking, nature activities, games, the arts, music, crafts, educational programs, great food, cabin life, reflective campfires and more!     Mower County Farm Bureau Scholarship

    This Scholarship is for Mower County Residents graduating in 2020, who are pursuing higher education in agriculture or home economics related fields.

    4-H Livestock Quality Assurance Training (LQA)

    4-H’ers grade 6th and above showing beef, dairy, goat, llama, poultry, rabbit and sheep; and 3rd grade and above showing swine need LQA certification (good for 3 fairs) to participate at the fair.

    Mark Your Calendars for the Little Lock-In!

    We are so excited to invite 3rd – 6th grades to attend the Mower County Little Lock-In! You may also bring a friend so they can experience the 4-H program!

    Adult volunteers and youth leaders are encouraged to register for these monthly online training webinars. Tools will be shared that will enhance your club or program.

    Apply for 2020 Helping Hands Awards by March 1

    2020 Helping Hands Grant applications are now open to programs and projects led by youth—apply by March 1!

    2020 Minnesota 4-H scholarships available for college-bound 4-H youth

    Extension development and Minnesota 4-H offer several scholarships for 4-H youth who are pursuing post-secondary studies at accredited colleges and universities. Over $20,000 is awarded annually through a competitive application process. All applications are due to the Extension development office by April 1.

    Attend spring 2020 SS&W Leader Certification Training

    4-H SS&W Leader Certification Trainings will be held April 4-5 in the Redwood Falls area and April 25-26 in the Park Rapids area. The Park Rapids location will also host ATV safety training. These trainings are designed for adults and youth that lead or would like to lead training in shooting sports, wildlife, or ATV safety. Registration deadlines are March 13 and April 3. Disciplines fill quickly, so make sure registration forms are sent in early!
