2020 4-H Animal Science Lease Program

The Minnesota 4-H Animal Science Lease Program is designed to make it possible for a 4-H member to have a non-owned 4-H project which can be exhibited at county fairs, Minnesota State Fair 4-H show, and other youth or open exhibitions. Market animals are not eligible for the lease program. The 4-H member/family is responsible for completing the 4-H identification process and uploading the Minnesota 4-H Animal Science Lease Information Form for the leased animal into 4-HOnline, due by June 1st. For more information visit Leasing a 4-H animal.

Important information updated in 2019 for 4-H Dairy Project members:
Beginning in 2019, all leased dairy animals must complete and use the NEW Minnesota 4-H Animal Science Lease Information Form. All completed lease information forms must be submitted by the identification deadline. Submitting the forms includes uploading them yourself into 4HOnline if this is a newly leased dairy animal OR submitting the form to your local extension office before the deadline for dairy animals previously identified. Please refer to the 4-H Lease Resources below or visit the 4-H Animal Science Lease Program webpage.
