Utilize Cloverbud policies and practices when planning programs

The 4-H Cloverbud program supports the positive development of children as they explore their world, discover possibilities and practice basic social skills. The 4-H Cloverbud information sheet for parents, guardians and mentors provides program options, safety considerations, policies and rules.

This resource will aid you in:

  • Planning age appropriate types of programming.
  • Understanding cooperative versus competitive programming.
  • Understanding the rules for Cloverbud participation across all types of programs.
  • Ensuring safety measures are in place to keep all Cloverbuds safe when participating in programs and activities.

Utilizing this resource will help you plan and deliver programs for Cloverbuds that are safe and age appropriate for all K-2nd grade 4-H participants.
