Gopher Dairy Camp

The 2019 Gopher Dairy Camp, hosted by the Gopher Dairy Club in cooperation with the Minnesota 4-H Dairy Project Committee and the Minnesota Livestock Breeders' Association, will be held June 16-18 on the University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus.

Gopher Dairy Camp is a fun 3-day workshop for teens who want to improve their dairy cattle skills. The camp is open to all youth who have completed grades 6-9, but have not yet started 10th grade. Activities include Dairy Fitting and Showmanship Workshops, Dairy Showmanship Contest, the Gopher Gold Auction, Dairy Foods Workshop, and fun around the Twin Cities. See the Camp Schedule in the Brochure (coming soon).

NOTE: Gopher Dairy Camp is a hands-on experience in which attendees work closely with a live heifer calf; therefore, experience with dairy cattle is required.

Camp Fee: $70 per youth

Registration: Registration forms for the 2019 camp are due May 31. Attendance is limited to the first 100 campers who apply.

The dorm is located on the state fairgrounds and campers will be shuttled to campus for the activities. Registration will be located in the 4-H Building entry way.
