Parent volunteers empower 4-H youth to learn, lead and make a difference

We want our kids to have the best 4-H experience possible. When youth grow important life skills and a commitment to community, we all benefit. Your presence can help make that happen.

Volunteer roles are diverse and time commitment is up to you. 4-H can find a spot that’s perfect for you. We need parents like you to become screened 4-H volunteers.

The benefits are many:

  • Volunteers help ensure a safe, supportive 4-H experience for all our kids. Becoming a screened volunteer doesn’t take long.
  • Your caring presence supports all our young people.
  • Our club has the volunteers we need to meet required adult-to-youth ratios for 4-H programs.
  • Youth have the opportunity to learn from you.

The enrollment process is easy! Visit our volunteer webpage or contact the Extension office to get started.
