5:30 PM – Preparing Apple Trees for Winter and Early Spring – Presenter, Lake County Master Gardener Corlis West. Topics covered will be preparing apple trees for winter and early spring, importance of orchard hygiene (clean-up of fallen fruit and leaves), winter protection of apple trees from animals, winter sun scald, winter root damage and preparing for early spring pruning.

6:30 PM – Preserving Apples – Presenter, Lake County Master Gardener Pat Berger

Learn about the different ways to safely preserve your bountiful apple harvest. 

7:00 PM – Apple Cider and Vinegar Making – Presenter, Cindy Hale

Learn about the process of making live cultured fruit vinegars. We'll talk about how to use them to make other fabulous taste treats and how to use them to preserve your bounty of fresh herbs.
