Annual volunteer training date set

Building 4-H Social and Emotional Learning Skills

Join us for the 2019 annual volunteer training topic: “Building 4-H Social and Emotional Learning Skills” to build youth and adult volunteer knowledge about these important life skills.

Research shows that social and emotional skills (SEL) are key for successful performance in life and career. They help us manage stress, work in teams, and achieve the goals we set. Volunteers will leave with knowledge, activities, tools and an action plan to imbed SEL Skills into 4-H programming.

Annual volunteer training is offered statewide. We encourage all 4-H youth and adult volunteers in clubs, county and tribal programs, including project development committees, federations, leader’s councils and other groups to attend. At least one volunteer from each club, program or group must plan on attending, but volunteers are encouraged to come as a team of youth and adults to gain the most from the activities and tools provided.
