4-H Clover Kitchen

The 4-H Clover Kitchen chefs invite you to virtually join us to create healthy, tasty snacks and meals alongside Local Extension Educators and fellow 4-H youth and families. Topics covered will include:

  • Reading and following a recipe
  • Food and kitchen safety
  • Measuring
  • Nutrition
  • Cooking/baking the “Recipe of the Week” 

What you need to know about 4-H Clover Kitchen:

WHO: Any youth enrolled in grades K-13

WHEN: Live Zoom meetings will take place on Wednesdays from July 15-August 26 from 4-5pm

During these live sessions, participants will share how the “Recipe of the Week” turned out and reflect on skills learned. Pre-recorded “Recipe of the Week” videos will be uploaded to the 4-H Clover Kitchen YouTube channel on Thursdays, from July 16-August 20 

Participants can view and make the weekly recipe at their convenience. 

WHERE: The 4-H Clover Kitchen YouTube channel and online Zoom meetings

COST: The program is free, however, participants are responsible for purchasing ingredients. A list of all the recipes and ingredients will be sent out after registration.

Registration required for participation. Register here. Deadline to register is Friday, July 10, 2020.

You will need the following:

  • A device to watch our pre-recorded YouTube videos on and participate in our live Zoom sessions
  • Access to a kitchen and basic cooking supplies such as measuring cups, bowls, pans, bakeware, and mixing spoons
  • Ingredients listed for each recipe
  • Recommended that a caring adult supervise while youth cook
