2020 Goodhue County 4-H Summer Day Camps

COVID-19 Update: We are planning on having an alternative learning experience for our June day camp dates. July dates are going ahead as planned at this time. Please register for what you feel comfortable with. 


 

4-H Summer Day Programs – 2020

Participants will spend the day participating in fun, exciting, and educational activities! Come one, come all!

Cost: $10 per day/youth: this includes a t-shirt (the t-shirt is the same for each event)

Pre-register by Friday, June 5 with 4-H by stopping at our office (509 W 5th street, Room 102) or emailing mnext-goodhue@umn.edu.  Payment must be received for registration to be complete.

(Cash or check only – payable to Goodhue County 4-H)

Our programs do have limited space - we will take registrations in the order they are received and completed (this includes payment received).  We will start wait lists if needed.  

(Please bring a bag lunch and water to each program) 

 

 

 

Cloverbud Day Camp (Grades K-2)

June 18, 9AM-2PM, Rosie’s Park, Goodhue –OR- July 21, 9AM-2PM, Hok-Si-La Park, Lake City

(20 Max Participants for each day)

Have fun at 4-H camp this year. Learn new things, play games, make crafts and go home with fun songs to teach your family.  Camp activities will be the same each day offered. 

 

Dig Into Archaeology Day Camp (Grades 3-5)

June 30, 9AM-2PM, Covered Bridge Park, Zumbrota (20 Max Participants)

Join Goodhue County Historical Society staff at this fun, park based exploration! Check out the Archaeology Dig Boxes, and much more at the Zumbrota Park.

 

MinnAqua Day Camp (Grades 3-5)

July 9, 9AM-2PM, Pottery Pond, Red Wing - OR – July 14, 2020, 9AM-2PM, Covered Bridge Park, Zumbrota 

(20 Max Participants for each day)

Games, crafts, fishing and a free tackle box are all part of this great camp, as you learn about the environment! Please do not bring a fishing pole – we will provide all materials you will need for the camp!

 

Hiking Memorial Bluff Day Camp (Grades K-5)

July 2, 9 AM – 2 PM, Memorial Park, Red Wing, (20 Max Participants)

Come explore Memorial Bluff in Red Wing! We’ll do some hiking, play some games, and learn about the rock quarry!

 

4-H At the Museum Day Camp (Grades K-5)

July 23, 9 AM – 2 PM, Red Wing (25 Max Participants)

Participants will get to explore the Goodhue County Historical Society Museum with scavenger hunts, crafts, and lots of games to play!
