2019 Goodhue County 4-H Day Camps

Campers will spend the day participating in fun, exciting, and educational activities! Come one, come all!

  • Cost: $10 per camp/youth: this includes a t-shirt (the t-shirt is the same for each camp)
  • Pre-register by Friday, June 14 with 4-H by stopping at our office (509 W 5th street, Room 102, by calling 651-385-3100, or emailing  Payment must be received for registration to be complete.
  • Cash or check only – payable to Goodhue County 4-H
  • Please bring a bag lunch and water to each camp

Our camps do have limited space - we will take registrations in the order they are received and completed (this includes payment received).  We will start wait lists if needed.  

Please note - we need all payments submitted to the 4-H office by June 14th . 


4-H Cloverbud Day Camp (Grades K-2) - Tuesday, June 18, 9AM-2PM, Rosie’s Park, Goodhue ***Filling up fast!*** –OR- Thursday, June 20, 9AM-2PM, Hannah’s Bend Park, Cannon Falls (20 Max Participants for each day)

Have fun at 4-H camp this year. Learn new things, play games, make crafts and go home with fun songs to teach your family.  Camp activities will be the same each day offered. 


NEW THIS YEAR:  Teen Camp (Grades 6 +) - Monday, July 1, 9AM-2PM, Twin Cities, (20 Max Participants)

We will participate in a service project and strengthen your leadership skills throughout the day! We will be going up to the Twin Cities with Houston County on this Adventure! Get signed up today to claim your spot on the bus! 


4-H MinnAqua Day Camp (Grades 3-5) - Thursday, July 11, 9AM-2PM, Pottery Pond, Red Wing, (20 Max Participants)

Games, crafts, fishing and a free tackle box are all part of this great camp, as you learn about the environment! Please do not bring a fishing pole – we will provide all materials you will need for the camp!


Adventures with Artifacts (Grades K-5) - Tuesday, July 16, 9 AM – 2 PM, History Center in Red Wing, (20 Max Participants) ***This camp is filling up fast! Get your registrations in soon!***

Participants will use artifacts to study the history of Goodhue County. Explore the museum with scavenger hunts, and lots of games to play!   


Interactive Red Wing History (Grades K-5) - Thursday, July 18, 9 AM – 2 PM, Reality Tour of Downtown, Red Wing (15 Max Participants) ***This camp has a waiting list as of 5/9/19***

Join us on a walking tour of Red Wing’s Historic District.  Kids will get to use an iPad to see historic photos along the way.  Scavenger hunts, exploring the Red Wing Shoe Company Museum a tour the Red Wing Arts Gallery and then off to ArtReach where we will learn about leatherworking!


Outdoor Odyssey (Grades K-5) - Tuesday, July 23, 9 AM – 2 PM, Hok-si-la Park, Lake City (20 Max Participants) ***This camp is filling up fast! Get your registrations in soon!***

Enjoy a scavenger hunt in the Interpretive Center, outdoor games and a nature walk. Tent building and marshmallow roasting is included!


Buffalo Field Trip (Grades K-5) - Thursday, July 25, 9 AM – 2 PM, Prairie Island Independent Learning Center (30 Max Participants)

Join us as we learn about the history of the buffalo on this fun day of learning at the Prairie Island Independent Learning Center!
