Horticulture Scholarship Application Process Open Now

The University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners of Douglas County will take applications through April 22, 2019 for a 2019 post-secondary scholarship.  The scholarship is $500 and will be awarded this spring.

Applications are open to students who are or will be attending a college or university as a full-time student who is pursuing or plans to pursue a career in horticulture or a horticulture-related field such as floriculture and nursery production, plant breeding and genetics, turfgrass science, horticulture, landscaping, plant biotechnology, arboriculture, environmental studies or viticulture.  Applicants should be residents of Douglas or Pope County.  Scholarships will be awarded based on scholastic success and demonstrated interest in the field of horticulture.
