Complete Your 4-H Records by October 15

The primary purpose of completing a 4-H record is for a young person to develop the skills necessary to set goals, work toward achieving those goals, reflect on his/her experiences and set new and higher goals for themselves.  A secondary benefit is to prepare young people for the process of completing quality academic scholarship applications.  Reflection of one’s experiences helps complete the learning cycle of do, reflect and apply!  4-H members who complete records at the county level (3rd grade and up) will have their name put into a drawing for a $ 25 gift card.

  • Cloverbud/Youth Records (all grades).  Complete electronically by clicking here or complete a traditional record book and submit to the Extension Office.
  • Youth Leadership Awards (outstanding awards for 7th grade and up), Young Entrepreneurial Award (9th grade and up), Karl Glade Elks Citizenship Award (9th grade and up), Golden Brothers Lions Club Community Service Award (9th grade and up), Key Award (16 years old and older) and Thornton Trophy (9th grade and up).  All of these awards are applications the 4-H member must apply for.
  • Nominated Awards including Friends of 4-H, 4-H Adult Volunteer Award and Danforth “I Dare You” Award
