Dear 4-H youth, families and volunteers,

It’s a new 4-H year and a great time to gather together. Did you know that we have tools to help you meet safely both in-person and online? We’d love to see every single 4-H club reconnect this fall. If you haven’t already, please call or email your local 4-H educator to talk about your meeting plans. We are here to help!

This season also brings a variety of statewide learning opportunities with 4-H educators. From agronomy & horticulture to global citizenship, and from polymer science to food & nutrition, there’s certainly something to excite and inspire the youth in your family or club. Visit our website to find our upcoming events and learning communities. There’s more being added each week.

And I’d like to take this opportunity to celebrate the newest Minnesota inductee into the National 4-H Hall of Fame. Bill Svendsgaard grew up in 4-H and spent a full career engaging youth in learning and leadership through various 4-H programs. Bill remains connected to us as a donor and faithful crafts & fine arts judge. He is featured in this video around the 9:45 mark. We are so fortunate to have him representing Minnesota in the hall of fame.
