Ways to volunteer

  • One-time volunteering, such as helping out at a 4-H event
  • Leading the youngest 4-H'ers -- Cloverbuds in grades K-2
  • Chaperoning a trip
  • Teaching a topic you know a lot about - once or regularly
  • Leading a 4-H club

Who can volunteer with 4-H?

Anyone age 19+ who cares about young people. You don't need to be a parent or an expert. For some volunteer roles, you will need to complete a background check and have some basic training.
