Come learn from researchers, educators and industry professionals!

Speaker highlights include:

  • “Strategies to Maximize Cow Comfort” Dairy farmer panelists will share their cow comfort strategies with three different stall surfaces-solids, mattresses.  Along with additional factors effecting cow comfort including stall design, ventilation, feed distribution and more.  
  • Paul Fricke, Professor of Dairy Science and Dairy Cattle Reproduction, University of Wisconsin-Madison will be speaking on two subjects, “Management Strategies in an Era of High Pregnancy Rates” and “Management Barriers to High Fertility.” His research work is highly acclaimed by dairy farmers and veterinarians alike.  
  • “Characteristics of Resilient Minnesota Dairy Farms” will be discussed by Joleen Hadrich, Extension Economist, Department of Applied Economics, University of Minnesota.  She will take a historical look at the benchmarks of successful dairy farms.
  • “Building your Milk Check” presented by Barry Visser, Dairy Specialist from Vita Plus.  Barry will share insights to improve cow nutrition and feeding systems to increase milk quality and add more money to the milk check.

$10 Admission includes a hearty noon meal-pay at the door.
