4-H Summer Assistants Needed

Each year we hire assistants to help with extra programming and events.  The number of assistants hired, hours and salary are variable according to the yearly budget.  This year we are considering one position for 220 hours (30 hours per week) from May 21 - August 9.  The second position will be 80 hours specifically geared towards the weeks prior to fair and fair week.

Applications are March 22nd.  Interviews will be scheduled after a review of the applications with hire date and hours.  Email if you would like a word document of the application.  Hiring is done in partnership with the Benton County Extension Office.  Any hires that are not current 4-H members, or over the age of 18 or serving as an adult chaperone, will need to complete a background check, per Minnesota State 4-H policy.

The three parts to the application are:  cover letter, resume and applications.  All three parts should be submitted in one packet by March 22 to Benton County Extension Office, PO Box 650, Foley, 56329-0650.  Contact the office with any questions.
